Radici dell'albero, as the name meaning 'tree roots' in Italian suggests, is our original Italian plaster finish born to copy the vitality and formative beauty of roots deeply stretched in the earth onto the wall surface. The base material uses traditional lime-based plaster materials such as Marmorino and Grassello that have been passed down for hundreds of years. While faithfully following the stucco technique derived from Venice of aging lime, layering, and bringing out expressions by trowel pressure, by combining multiple metallic finishing materials there, it enables modern and deep expression not found in conventional plaster. The roughly undulating texture does not depend on a predetermined mold, but is composed impromptu by the craftsman's hand movement, trowel angle, and layering timing. The metallic luster layered on top changes its expression depending on the angle of light and time of day, creating deep shadows and tension on the wall surface.
