We performed construction using Italian plaster at the Information Center and Seiwain Rest House in Kyoto Gyoen National Garden. In this article, we will introduce the construction details and beautiful finish in detail.
Brilliance of exterior walls finished with Acrisyl Decora
For the exterior walls of the Information Center in Kyoto Imperial Palace, ACRISYLDECORA is used.
Quartz is mixed in, and when sunlight hits it, it glitters, highlighting the presence of the building.
ACRISYLDECORA has excellent weather resistance and can maintain a beautiful finish for a long period, making it an attractive option for architects.

Graceful texture of interior walls using Cadoro Velvet
For the interior walls of the Kyoto Gyoen Information Center, CADOROVELVET is used. This material lets you see glittering particles within a slight gloss, making you feel subtle grace. CADOROVELVET has a unique texture that cannot be reproduced with other materials, and can give a sense of luxury to the space.

Gorgeousness of ceiling finish mixing Italian plaster and metal powder
Inside the Information Center in Kyoto Gyoen National Garden, the ceiling is finished by mixing metal powder into Italian plaster and polishing it.
By this construction, light from the ceiling spreads throughout the space, creating visual gorgeousness and openness.
By utilizing metal powder, it is possible to realize a unique space that draws a line from others.

Flowing design of original plaster finish at Seiwain Rest House
At Seiwain Rest House located in Kyoto Gyoen National Garden, east of the Imperial Palace, we applied a plaster finish with a flowing design. This is our original finish, and the beautiful curves expressed by making full use of precise techniques create a unique atmosphere in the space.
Such original plaster finishes provide new ideas and inspiration for architects.
Unique designs using Italian plaster significantly change the impression of the space and emit a presence different from others.

That was the overview of our construction at Kyoto Gyoen Information Center and Seiwain Rest House.
We hope that the beautiful finishes and unique designs utilizing Italian plaster will help bring new ideas.
