ANTIQUA

ANTIQUA is a natural mineral plaster born from traditional Italian plastering culture, characterized by a unique expression that deepens in flavor over time. There are two types depending on the size of the aggregate: Antiqua-1 contains white aggregate of about 1mm, and Antiqua-2 contains black aggregate of about 1.5-2mm. Depending on the aggregate, different shades and depths can be expressed even within the same 'Antiqua'. The finish of Antiqua reflects the spirit of 'Intonaco' (thick lime finish) that has been passed down in Italy since ancient times. The subtle unevenness created by lime and mineral aggregates scatters light softly, creating quiet shadows on the wall surface. These shadows create a deep expression, like the aged texture that the walls of old architecture have worn over time.
