SOLUTION is a siloxane-based decorative finishing material developed to realize the beauty of Stucco Antico, a traditional technique of Venetian plaster, on exterior walls. By combining carefully selected aggregates, natural earth, UV-resistant oxide pigments, and highly alkali-resistant modified siloxane resin, it achieves both the weather resistance required for outdoors and the elegant gloss and deep shadows unique to Stucco Antico. All finishes of SOLUTION are created by thin coating and pressing techniques using a metal trowel. The minute traces created when the metal trowel slides on the wall pick up light, creating the smooth gloss and natural shading unique to the so-called 'glazed spatula'. Depending on the pressing condition, it can be adjusted to a glossy finish or a calm matte-leaning finish, responding to a wide range of expressions from classic to modern. A major feature of SOLUTION is that it has 'breathability (moisture permeability) that does not seal the outer wall'. The balance of water repellency and moisture permeability brought by siloxane bonds repels rainwater while allowing internal moisture to escape, so it does not hinder the 'breathing' of the building. This is the same philosophy as the lime finish since ancient Rome, reproducing the traditional wisdom of extending building life with modern technology. SOLUTION realizes the elegant finish of Stucco Antico with the strength suitable for exterior walls. The delicate shadows of the metal trowel finish give a one-of-a-kind expression to the exterior wall.
